How to Apply for an RCBC Credit Card
The easiest way to apply for an RCBC credit card is through their online application. Just make sure you are between 18 and 65 years old, currently employed or self-employed, and have a valid ID and proof of income.
Follow the process below.
- Visit the RCBC credit card online application form.
- On the upper right side, change the type of card based on your eligibility, income, and preference. You can check the minimum income requirements here.
- Complete the CAPTCHA and click Start New Application.
- Input your 16-digit credit card number if you have any other credit cards from RCBC or other banks.
- Indicate your employment status and gross annual income (income before deductions). Agree to the Terms & Conditions to proceed.
- Fill up the personal and employment information. Make sure to use an active email address and mobile number. At the bottom, choose your preferred time to be contacted by RCBC in case additional information is needed.
- Once you are satisfied with the information you provided, click continue, and an OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Input the OTP to continue with the identity verification.
- If you are using a computer, you will be asked to continue with the verification using a mobile device by scanning a QR code. On your phone, submit your valid ID and take a selfie. Your application will automatically be submitted after this.
- Monitor your email and phone in case RCBC contacts you for additional details or documents.

The processing time for an RCBC credit card application varies depending on the application method:
- Online Applications:
After submitting your application and completing the e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) process, you will receive an SMS notification with your Reference Number within 10 banking days. RCBC may contact you for additional verification or requirements during this period. - RCBC Bankard NOW (In-Store Applications):
If you apply through RCBC Bankard NOW at partner stores, you can receive a decision on your credit card application in as fast as 1 hour, provided all required documents and a completely filled-out application form are submitted.
Please note that these timeframes are for application processing only and do not include the delivery time of the physical credit card, which may take additional days.
5. How to lock/unlock your RCBC credit card
Keeping your RCBC credit card secured when not in use is easy.
Open your RCBC Pulz app and head to the Credit Card tab. Scroll down to the card actions and click See More. Under Card Settings, you will see the Lock/Unlock icon and choose the card you wish to lock. Slide the slider at the bottom and complete the verification (PIN or biometrics).
Follow the same steps to unlock your card.
6. Can I request a supplementary card?
Yes! You may apply for up to supplementary cards for your family members. The supplementary cardholder must be between 13 to 65 years old.

8. How do I activate or deactivate my RCBC credit card?
Before activating your new RCBC Credit Card, check that the card details are printed (flat) and not embossed. If the details are embossed or if there are any signs of tampering, do not activate the card—instead, call RCBC at (02) 8888-1888 and press 1 to speak with an agent.
You can activate your RCBC credit card through any of these methods:

9. What is RCBC’s UnliPay?
UnliPay allows RCBC credit cardholders to transfer funds using their available credit limit to pay any bank or e-wallet via the RCBC Pulz app. This service enables users to pay merchants who cannot accept credit card payments, providing greater flexibility in managing finances.
To use it, access UnliPay via the RCBC Pulz app, enter the payment details, verify the transaction, and then confirm. Note that you cannot use UnliPay to transfer to an account under the same name as the cardholder.
For payment flexibility, UnliPay transactions can also be converted into installments through the RCBC Pulz app. For UnliPay transactions converted to 6 months or longer installments, the processing fee is waived.
10. Where can I pay my RCBC credit card bill?
You can easily pay your RCBC credit card bill online. Each credit card SOA comes with a QR code that you can simply upload–no need to type in your credit card number over and over again.
