Pay through EastWest Online/Mobile Banking, GCash, Maya, over-the-counter at branches, or partner payment centers like SM Bills Payment.

Apply online through ESTA or visit a branch with your valid ID, proof of income, and utility bills. Requirements vary per card.

There are no real-time payment options yet. However, you can pay your EastWest credit card bill via Komo and expect the payment to be posted the next day.

You can also use EastWest Online Banking, GCash, Maya, or other mobile banking apps. Payments may take 1-3 days to be posted.

The easiest way to check your EastWest credit card application status is via ESTA. Just have your mobile number and reference number (if applicable) ready.

You can also call their customer service at (02) 8888-1700 or send them an email at service@eastwestbanker.com.

Register your account at EW Credit Cards Messenger Chatbot to access the lock and unlock features of your EastWest credit cards.

Note that this function is not available between 11:00 PM and 5:30 PM Philippine time, meaning you cannot unlock/lock your cards between this time, so plan your purchases accordingly.

Banks do not typically provide courier or tracking details for credit card deliveries. To get information on your EastWest credit card delivery status, you may call their hotline at (02) 8888-1700.

You may also request that the bank disclose and provide your mobile number to the courier so you may be contacted when your card is out for delivery. Banks do not give your number unless you request it.

Call EastWest customer service at (02) 8888-1700 and request deactivation. However, you have to make sure all outstanding balances are settled before filing a request.

You can activate your EastWest credit card by sending the EWCC ACTIVATION <LastName>, <FirstName>, <MiddleName> <Last 4 digits of the card number> to 22565392.

Basic Requirements

  • Completely filled-out EastWest Credit Card Application Form
  • Photocopy of one (1) valid ID with picture and signature

Proof of Income

If employed, submit any of the following:

  • Latest BIR Form 2316/ITR
  • Certificate of Employment stating breakdown of compensation
  • Letter of Appointment/Personnel Action Memo
  • Salary Adjustment Memo issued within the latest month
  • Latest three (3) Months Payslip
  • Latest Service Record for government employees
  • Valid Credit Card Reference and Latest Month Statement of Account

If self-employed, submit any of the following:

  • Latest BIR Form 1701/ITR
  • Latest Audited Financial Statements (if applicable)
  • Valid Credit Card Reference and Latest Month Statement of Account

If local resident foreigner, submit any of the following:

  • Alien Certificate of Registration with Permanent Status
  • Visa issued under Section 9d and 9g of immigration Act of 1940
  • Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV)
  • Visa issued by Philippine Economic Zone Authority – 47(a)(2)
  • Embassy Certification (for Diplomats and Embassy Personnel)

EastWest credit cards’ interest rate is 3% per month or 36% effective rate annually.

The EastWest Platinum Mastercard is the most popular option, offering lifetime fee waivers for principal and supplementary cardholders.
