Eligibility
- A Filipino Citizen (additional requirements apply for non-Filipino residents).
- At least 21 years old.
- With a minimum fixed monthly income of ₱20,000 and tenured for at least 2 years.
- With an active residential/business contact number and email address.
Basic Requirements
- Completely filled-out BPI Credit Card Application Form
- Photocopy of one (1) valid ID with picture and signature.
Proof of Income
If you hold a credit card from another bank for at least a year, you can proceed with your application without proof of income.
If employed, submit any of the following:
- Certificate of Employment (COE)
- Latest two months payslips
- Latest income tax return (ITR) with BIR/bank stamp
If self-employed, submit the following:
- Latest audited financial statement (AFS) with BIR/bank stamp
- Latest income tax return (ITR) with BIR/bank stamp
If you are a non-Filipino resident, submit any of the following:
- Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
- Work Permit
- Embassy Accreditation Paper
If you are an owner/manager of pawnshop, forex dealers, money changers, or remittance agents, submit:
- Certificate of Registration issued by BSP
If you are an insurance agent, submit:
- Insurance Commission License

1. How do I redeem BPI Rewards or Points?
You can easily monitor and redeem your BPI reward points through the Vybe app.
- Download the app if you don’t have it yet.
- Log in and click BPI Rewards to see the list of deals available.
- You can sort them from the highest to the lowest point requirement or vice versa.
- You can also filter the list to only show the deals that you can redeem with your current points.

2. Do BPI Points expire?
No, BPI reward points do not expire as long as there are any transactions (addition or use of points) within 60 months.
3. What valid IDs are accepted when applying?
BPI accepts the following government-issued IDs for credit card applications:
- Company ID
- Passport
- Voter’s ID
- Driver’s License
- PRC ID
- SSS/GSIS Card
- Postal ID (new version)
- BIR/TIN ID
4. Is there a minimum income requirement?
Yes, the minimum fixed income is ₱20,000 per month or ₱240,000 a year.
If you’re an existing cardholder from another bank, you may qualify through a fast-track application by submitting your latest credit card statement without the need for proof of income.
5. How long does it take to process the application?
Online applications typically take 7 to 15 banking days to process. If documents are complete and you meet the eligibility criteria, approval may be faster. You’ll be notified via SMS or email once your card is approved and dispatched.
6. Is the BPI DOS card a NAFFL (No Annual Fee For Life) card?
No, this card is not NAFFL. The BPI DOS has an annual fee of ₱3,000.
You may reach out to BPI’s customer support team to ask for membership waiver conditions. Sometimes, they are more lenient with cardholders in good standing.
7. Can I request a supplementary card?
Yes! You may apply for up to six supplementary cards for your family members. You can set spending limits for each card to control usage and monitor expenses. Apply via the BPI app or at any branch.
8. Where can I pay or settle my BPI DOS credit card bill?
There are many options to pay for your BPI credit card bill. If you prefer to use your BPI online or mobile app, you need to enroll BPI EXPRESS CARD CORP (BECC) as a biller first. You can do this by adding it as a New Recipient.

Payment can take up to 3 days to be posted, so make sure to settle your credit card bill in advance. That way, you’ll avoid late payment charges and keep your credit record in good standing.
